Hurricanes, tropical storms, the recession, the oil spill . . . we aren't called The Little Zoo That Could for nothing. We are definitely survivors, but it's time to move to higher ground and become The Little Zoo That Grew."

YOU Can Participate in Building the New Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo!

Build Your Zoo is the dedicated capital fundraising campaign that offers individuals, families, local businesses and organizations four ways to support us in the construction of the new Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. It's an opportunity to have a stake in literally building your zoo, with all funds going directly to this vital, non-profit community project.

We take great pride and responsibility in our endeavor to create an oasis where humans and animals, of all ages, come together in peace, harmony, and safety. Oh, and let's not forget:

  • fun and adventure
  • great food and entertainment
  • unique shopping
  • inspirational learning experiences

We hope that when you join our Build Your Zoo community, you will feel the same pride we do and continue to support our efforts far into the future.

Philanthropy Program

Our Safe & Sound Philanthropy Partnership Program is for those who are seeking to make a significant contribution to the new Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo through corporate and private giving and sponsorships. We offer a variety of ways to participate, from foundation grants and family trusts to funding one of our many animal exhibits, education, conservation or outreach programs. Your future financial plans can have a lasting impact on generations of zoogoers who will help us stay "safe and sound" far into the future.
